Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, Merinos (Merinos AKKM) is the congress and cultural center within the Merino Park in Bursa. The Osman Gazi Hall, which has two balconies with a capacity of 1650 seats, has an electronic, mechanical and acoustic infrastructure that will allow the most comprehensive organizations from opera, theater and ballet performances to conferences and concerts. The hall is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
In the administrative part, there are necessary artists' dressing and working rooms, workshops, rehearsal rooms, offices, library, archive and private parking area to support this technology. The main and side foyers spread over an area of 3,800 m² and are fully integrated with the lush nature of the Merinos Park and the restored Merinos Factory thanks to a completely transparent façade. Merino AKKM was officially opened on June 6, 2010. In 2007, he was awarded the Achievement Award of the Historic Towns Association and in 2010 the International Architecture Award (The Chicago Athenaeum: International Architecture Award 2010).
